Charlie Delsman
won the West Florida Golf Tour's second major of the year at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club's Royal Lakes Course on Sunday.

Delsman's two-day total was 8-under par, good for a one-shot victory over Vince India, last year's Big Ten Player of the Year.

Both players fired 4-under par 32s to close with 68s. Each birdied No. 18 to finish the tournament in style.

Scott Berliner, winner of this year's Manatee County Open, led after the first round following an 8-under par 64. He faltered with a 74 to take third place.

Delsman won $3,000 and an exemption into the WFGT's Q-School Match Play competition held at the Founders Club in May.

India, the former University of Iowa standout, newly relocated to Bradenton and collected $2,000 for the runner-up finish.
