Jaclyn Sweeney rebounds at Turkish Airlines Ladies Open

Bradenton's Jaclyn Sweeney returned to the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open on the right foot following a weather break that postponed play in Friday's second round.

The Pendleton School alumnus birdied her first hole on Saturday after play resumed in the Ladies European Tour event.

However, Sweeney then struggled to make anything happen - carding a double and triple bogey en route to a back nine 41 to conclude her second round.

But Sweeney didn't let the second round 80 crush her confidence.

The former Arizona State University standout rebounded with a 3-under par 70 that leaves her in a tie for 17th at 5-over par.

Sweeney had just two bogeys, while notching three birdies and an eagle. She's 10 shots behind the leader.
