College golf: Callaway Collegiate Match Play semifinal results

Third-seeded Duke rallied late to hold off second-seeded Cal in semifinal action of the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship at The Concession Golf Club in East Manatee on Monday.

The Blue Devils now have a chance to defend their title against top-seeded Arkansas. The Razorbacks had little trouble dispatching Chattanooga, sweeping all five matches.

Duke, though, rallied with Tim Gornik converting a birdie on the 18th hole to force a playoff. He drained another birdie on the first sudden-death hole to send Duke through to the finals, scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
