Bradenton's Jaclyn Sweeney shot up the leaderboard after a second-round 71 in the Ladies European Tour's Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.
However, Sweeney's place in the top 10 was a brief stay.
She carded a third-round 79 to sit in a tie for 43rd at 9-over par. Sweeney is 15 shots behind the leader after 54-holes. Sweeney is slated to tee off No. 10 at 9:30 a.m. local time for the final round.
The good thing, is she's guaranteed to cash after making the cut with Friday's round.
Back here in Florida, the Canadian Tour's Florida Winter Qualifying School wrapped up in Weeki Wachee.
Only one local, Longboat Key's Jared Kobren, finished his four rounds.
Kobren, a regular on the West Florida Golf Tour, completed the tournament with a third consecutive 78 en route to finish in 36th place among the 44 players in the field.
The tourney began with 53 players, but after disqualifications and withdrawals, the final round has just 44 players finish.
