Two Bradenton-based golfers, Jaclyn Sweeney and Hannah Yun, are near the top of the leaderboard after the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women's Open's opening round.Sweeney, a former IMG Academies standout who lives in Bradenton, fired a 4-under par 68 as did Yun, another former IMG student.
Both players are currently one shot off the lead shared by three players. The first round of the Ladies European Tour event is not yet completed, with several players still on the Pegasus Golf Club's course in Christchurch.
